When I hear of daggers, I think of a powerful and badass weapon that can inflict serious damage. This is because I have that history of dagger in mind. If you explore their history, you will come to know that these were pure fighting weapons.
Before swords, these were the primary fighting weapons. For a long period of time, these remained as secondary fighting weapons. However, today the scenario is completely different. Daggers are no longer fighting weapons.
Rather, these are used for different purposes these days. They have been adopted as self defense weapons against the attackers; a few, not all.

These are very popular daggers nowadays since they belong to famous characters from fantasy novels and movies. So, these are the three most popular types of daggers you can find in the market these days!
